This technique gave me the bravery to make larger quilts and try more sophisticated free motion quilting styles. It also saves your back and shoulders from wrestling a large quilt in a conventional machine, giving you the advantage of growing your free motion and straight-line quilting skills, because you quilt each piece as you go.
In this workshop, we'll build four scrappy log cabin blocks, quilt each block separately, then quilt them to the backing. Finally, you'll bind your finished product.

This class is 3 hours, so bring snacks and drinks for yourself, because we'll sew straight through.
Note: If you would like to bring your own machine, make sure you bring its respective components for your ease of use. You will need a walking foot to quilt and bind it. And a free motion quilting foot if you want to do that. Depending on the model, we may be able to support you in using it, if you are unsure. If not you can use our machines.
Investment includes instruction, use of machines, thread, cutting tools, and all fabric needed.
